Habits

Old habits die hard specially if it's the only thing that's keeping you alive, making you feel that you are, in fact, still alive/human. More often than not, these "habits" cause more damage internally and ironically they take away the pains of our internal wounds; wounds that could not be treated with the good ol' betadine and antiseptic. Sure wounds would heal over time but like all scars, they will serve as a remembrance of what you've been through – a tale that only you know.

Habits form over a course of time usually when put under circumstances and a series of unsaid and unanswered questions: "Why do you like people who are whole? Is it because they're less of a hassle for you?", "How convenient was it for you?", "You knew I was fucked since day one. Did you see that as a challenge that's why you stayed?", and the cherry on top, "I'm sorry to be a bother after all these time."

We all have bad habits. Who doesn't?
